The Lodge Hotel and Banquets

We stayed there in mid May for a concert. The staff was VERY FRIENDLY! I checked both beds and found ZERO BUGS! The owners have been remodeling it, so done of the reviews about them aren't accurate anymore. We'll be booking there again when we attend other concerts at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheater because it's a short drive and the hotel is great.

The outside looks bad, however they just bought it and are working on making it amazing. The lobby is beautiful and room was nice and clean. Fresh painted walls, new TV, fridge and microwave clean and they look new. Bathroom bright white and clean. NO BUGS A++++ i really enjoyed my stay. room 105

Hotel is under renovation, so people need to calm the heck down with their nasty, spiteful reviews. Its posted on their website AND every discount site/app. That all said: Our room was one that had been renovated, and was absolutely fantastic. Spotlessly clean, ALL linens bright white, neat, and it was VERY clear the housekeeping staff had done their job and some. We (my adult son and I) have service animals, and Paula, at the feomt desk, was FANTASTIC about getting us settled and letting housekeeping know. The beds were SUPER comfortable, room was quiet, with good water pressure, and no shortage of hot water. Paula was an absolute amazing, kind, and thoughtful employee, and even sent staff to help us with adjusting furniture to accomodate my physical disabilities, and help my aon get all our luggage to the room. The pool and jacuzzis in the center of the hotel were very relaxing, and the hotel takes the extra stap.of keeping families with small children separated within the hotel from families or guests without little ones, which was very appreciated. Our room was very quiet and peaceful, and on the outaide of the hotel, with Paula taking extra steps to place us in a room as close to the elevator as possible. One of the future renovations includes a block of rooms specifically designed for people traveling with service animals in mind, and our room included disabled accommodations such as grab bars in the shower and by the toilet, lower beds for ease of access, and a well-placed counter that is low enough for persons in a wheelchair without being inconvenient for persons who have more typical mobility. Hotel staff did an INCREDIBLE job keeping common areas and our room clean, and responded swiftly to the singular instance we had of excessive noise from an nearby room, and enforce their quiet hours of 10pm-7am. Even under renovations, I would 110% recommend this hotel. Service was on par with what I'd expect at a luxury hotel, staff were polite, helpful, and respectful, and Paula is an absolute gem. If you don't have your own vehicle or funds for rideshares like Uber or Lyft, transportation around the city (St. Louis) is a little challenging, but busses do stop nearby, and Doordash, Uber Eats, and company specific delivery are very easily accessed, with drivers willing to go direct to your room, but better to meet them in the lobby. All in all, this was an EXCELLENT week's stay, greatly due to Paula's assistance, kindness, professionalism, and communication. recommend!! We will absolutely be staying here again, and recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel with nice amenities, professional staff, and accommodating, comfortable rooms at reasonable, budget-friendly prices.

Rooms are renovated and Good spot to stay with family.we enjoyed a lot in pool and we have good breakfast and good service too.

Since the reviews of this place were so bad I decided I had better check it out before I booked. Had a look and it seemed reasonable so I took the plunge. Honestly I can say it wasn't that bad, actually since I was expecting hell on earth I was pleasantly surprised. The place is well past its glory days but still perfectly adequate for a budget stay. The AC worked fine, the room was big and quiet, the water was hot and the staff were ok. The bedding wasn't the best, the mattress needs renewing but the sheets were clean. All up it was about the average experience for a budget hotel. Would stay there again if the price was competitive.

We had an amazing and relaxing week and the staff was very helpful, pleasant, kind, patient and very professional. Ty for making our staycation very pleasant and enjoyable. We will definitely be back.... We loved and enjoyed the pool and hot tub.... I'll be honest when we pulled up to the hotel I was like o boyyyyyy but when I walked into the hotel it is very nice, clean and comfortable... Definitely would recommend a stay or more....

Unfriended employees, room had no chain to lock from inside could open without key. Aure didn't look like pictures, had to ask for a tpool towel from front desk and return it when done. What a joke for real will Never ever stay there again

Awesome staff anything needed they are there to help. Highly recommend!
